About the Gibson ES-125 1952
The ES-125 is a 16 ”guitar with a bound laminated maple body and a chunky mahogany neck (nut width 1 11/16) with rosewood fingerboard. And the best thing; this guitar is completely original from the tuners to the nickle tailpiece!
The tailpiece is a typical tailpiece that Gibson used more often in the early 1950’s on the ES-125. As you know, it is a well-known ailment that vintage plastic parts start to shrink over time. The tortoise pickguard is in a very nice condition and has no problems with this, but the buttons of the Kluson No Line tuners are starting to shrink.
The Gibson comes without a case.
