About the Gibson ES-225T 1959
The ES-225 is a nice hollow body guitar with an all-maple body. Had changed tuners at one time, the original Kluson tuners are back on.
The original P-90 in centre position makes it a guitar well suitable for Jazz, Blues and Rock’n’Roll. Despite having just one element the guitar is quite versatile.
There are no cracks or repairs on this guitar. We only found a very small routing, see photos. With the pickup on you can not see anything, but we wanted to mention it.
There’s also some history attached to this Gibson. In the body of the guitar we found the name and address of Luke H. Turner. According to our research, Luke H. Turner was a reverend at Norwood Baptist Church (Alabama) and had served in the United States Army during WWII.
The ES-225T comes with a modern case.
