About the Kay Swingmaster 1960
This rare Kay model has a fully hollow maple body with checkerboard binding. The maple neck has a soft V-shaped profile and the bound rosewood fretboard features mother of pearl block inlays. On the headstock we find the original Grover open-back tuners with butterbean buttons.
This Kay has an old crack repair around the output jack, see photos. These are only aesthetic blemishes and do not effect the sound of the guitar.
If you’re looking for a rich, vintage sound, don’t pass up this beauty.
Comes with a modern case.
