About the National (Gibson) 1110 1948
This “Gibson-Made” National from 1948 was the showpiece of National at the time. The craftsmanship and quality are superior! The National has a laminated maple body and a very comfortable mahogany neck. The rosewood fretboard is inlaid with parallelogram inlays. And the headstock is decorated in an art-deco style with the famous “National” shield logo. In short; a very classy guitar!
Furthermore, the National is equipped with a pickup in the neck position and a “Silver-Sound” pickup has been incorporated into the bridge. All this is finished with a bakelite volume and blend knob.
This vintage National 1110 comes with a period correct vintage Epiphone case.
