This short scale is nice and compact and weighs almost nothing. The body is made of poplar wood and finished in that beautiful Calypso Blue color.<\/p>\n

The neck has a sturdy U-shaped profile, with a rosewood fingerboard and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Original Kluson tuners are still in place, turning smoothly and holding the tuning well.<\/p>\n

It has a single-coil pickup, with only a volume and tone knob. The tone potentiometer may need to be checked, but otherwise everything works as it should. And the sound? Perfect for old rock \u2018n\u2019 roll and blues.<\/p>\n
