Original vintage DeArmond Rhythm Chief 1000 “Monkey-on-a-Stick” archtop pickup, manufactured in Toledo, Ohio. These days, complete and fully functional examples are becoming rare. Perfect for vintage archtops from Epiphone, Gibson, D’Angelico, Guild, and others!
This Rhythm Chief 1000 is original and complete. Both the volume and tone controls function properly, and the rhythm switch works perfectly as well. The cable runs from the 1/8″ jack and ends in a standard jack plug, making the pickup easy and flexible to install.
This isn't a reissue, but the genuine vintage “real deal.”
