Here we have a sweet Lyon & Healy made Arion Parlor from the late 1800s. This Arion parlor guitar is a ¾ size guitar.
This antique ladder braced guitar features a Sruce top and Mahogany back and sides. The neck has a V-shaped profile with a nice chunky feel. The Ebony fretboard is not original and features luxurious mother-of-pearl inlay. On the slotted headstock we find the original brass-tuners.
The pyramid style Ebony bridge with slanted bone saddle (for perfect intonation) is not original to the guitar. This guitar plays and sounds like a dream, ready for another 100 + years.
This Arion is a lovely and playable instrument. A real piece of history with a nice deep and mellow sound.
Comes with a gig bag.
