Epiphone Broadway E252 1961
€ 5.495,00
This beautiful vintage 1961 Epiphone Broadway E252 is a dream for any guitarist! This is a guitar from Gibson's golden years, with all the quality you would expect, but at a much more attractive price. It is professionally tuned and ready to go - all you have to do is play.
The 17-inch body is made of laminated maple and features a signature Epiphone sunburst finish. The whole thing is stylishly finished with a classy tortoise pickguard. The rosewood bridge features a (non-original) adjustable bridge, but otherwise the Epiphone is completely original: from the gold reflector knobs to the single-line Kluson tuners. Despite light signs of use and subtle signs of age, this guitar, with over 60 years on the clock, is in remarkably good condition.
The neck is mahogany, with a comfortable “D” profile. The bound fingerboard is rosewood and has beautiful mother-of-pearl block inlays. The classic Epiphone script logo, crest inlay and stinger on the back of the headstock give it an elegant look.
The PAF mini-humbuckers of this Epiphone are real tone machines! These are the original “Patent No. pickups, with that authentic, warm sound you won't find anywhere else. They deliver a perfectly balanced sound that is ideal for jazz, but also shines in other styles.
This guitar has everything: looks, sound and playability. The Broadway comes with the original Epiphone tweed hard-shell case with dark-blue plush lining.
