Fender Jazzmaster 1963

A highly sought after pre-CBS 1963 Fender Jazzmaster. This Jazzmaster came to us with a badly refin Olympic White finish, but thanks to GUN Guitars, the Fender has its original Sunburst back!
The traces of the original Sunburst were still visible in the neck pocket and cavities. Therefore, we decided to return the Fender to its original Sunburst. The finish turned out exceptionally well, showcasing both convincing checking and wear in the lacquer. The original nitrocellulose tortoiseshell pickguard is present, with two small cracks at the bridge. The control cavity shield is still fully intact.
The neck has a Rosewood fingerboard with clay dot inlays, dated October 1963 (stamp clearly visible) and a comfortable B profile. New frets were installed during the restoration, so the Jazzmaster plays wonderfully smoothly again.
Both the neck and headstock had to be repainted due to a previous poor refinish. A high-quality reproduction decal was applied to maintain the authentic look. The original single line Kluson tuners are still on the headstock, and the neckplate is a quality reproduction.
This Jazzmaster is equipped with the original Black Bottom pickups. The mini pots and toggle switch are original, and the wiring has been updated with vintage-correct cloth wiring. The original Pat # Tremolo and bridge works perfectly!
Comes in a sturdy SKB case.
