Fender Telecaster Blonde 1979

The 4,780-gram ash body is in beautiful, well-worn vintage condition. Over the years, the Blonde finish has developed various light discolorations, signs of wear, and minor scratches. There’s no heavy abuse here—just the authentic wear and tear you’d expect to see on a Fender that’s nearly fifty years old. As a result, the body has a lovely amount of vintage mojo. The pickguard appears to have been reliced at some point in the past.

The maple neck has a comfortable, slightly thicker C-shape and feels great in the hand. The neck is in good condition and the frets are still in good shape, making this Telecaster not only beautiful to look at but also a joy to play.

The guitar has its original pickups. One of the potentiometers dates from 1979; the other is not original and dates from 1984.

A very charming and characterful 1978 Fender Telecaster, with a beautifully aged Blonde finish, plenty of vintage mojo, and wonderful playability. A true vintage Fender for players that looks and sounds amazing.
