This Made in Japan 1986 Fender '62 Telecaster Custom with double-bound Basswood body in Candy Apple Red has the looks and sound! This one is from the 'A series, shortly after the legendary JV series.
The neck plays smoothly with a U profile and a rosewood slab fretboard measuring 1 11/16” at the nut. It is smooth and comfortable and is professionally tuned with .011 strings, good action and intonation.
The previous owner was not satisfied with the original potentiometers and capacitor. The potentiometers were replaced with CTS potentiometers, a high-quality capacitor and vintage-style cloth wiring for better sound.
Comes with the original (battered) molded Fender case.
