This 1983 Gibson ES-335 Dot belongs to the early reissue period when Gibson began rebuilding ES-335s according to the specifications of the iconic models from the late 1950s.
Over the years, we have had several early 1980s ES-335s in our store, and they never disappoint. These models are undoubtedly among the best 335s you can find.
This model is in exceptionally good condition and features a beautiful Antique Natural finish. The Gibson is equipped with a set of highly sought-after Tim Shaw PAF humbuckers, stamped in August 1983.
The ES-335 has a laminated maple body and a mahogany neck with a comfortable medium C-profile. The bound rosewood fingerboard features DOT inlays.
Thanks to the Tim Shaw pickups, this ES-335 sounds as good as it looks: warm, open, and dynamic. Versatile enough for a wide range of styles, including jazz, blues, classic rock, and modern rock.
Comes in an original Gibson Cali case including the original knobs.
