Pre-1975 ES models have been in high demand in recent years. If you've held this 1972 Gibson ES-345TD Stereo, you'll know why!
As is well known, Gibson's serial numbers are inconsistent in the early 1970s. Although the serial numbers are irregular, all specifications point to a build year between 1971 and 1973. The ES-345TD was not widely produced at that time. Gibson produced an average of only 110 ES-345TD guitars per year between '71 and '73.
This ES-345TD has a laminated Maple body with a triple-bound front and triple-bound back. The 3-piece Mahogany neck with a 40mm nut width has an bound Rosewood fretboard with split parallelogram inlay. The handsome Iced Tea Burst has aged beautifully over the years. On the headstock we find the original Gold Gibson Deluxe tuners and a volute.
In addition to being a collectors grade guitar, it is also an insane player! This Gibson feels and plays wonderfully. Nice low action from top to bottom. The two original Patent Sticker Number Humbuckers with factory stereo wiring make it a great sounding guitar from Jazz to Blues.
Comes with a modern case.
