If you are looking for a completely original Les Paul Custom, this is your guitar. A 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Ebony finish, completely original and in very good condition.
This Black Beauty came from Benny Ludemann, guitarist of Toon Hermans, and has also been used during shows. Plays like a dream and sounds great thanks to the original T-Tops, low action and fast neck.
The Les Paul Custom has a mahogany pancake body with maple top. The maple neck has a round C profile that is thicker than the later 70s models. The ebony fingerboard with 22 frets plays smoothly and provides the sharp attack a Custom is supposed to have.
The solderings are untouched and the pots date; 137.76.05 (5th week of 1976). Completely original electronics with that recognizable blend of warmth, clarity and bite.
Comes in the original Gibson case with purple lining. An opportunity to acquire a genuine Black Beauty with an interesting history.
