A 1936 Kalamazoo KG-21 manufactured by Gibson. This Kalamazoo is in great condition for its age.
This rather small vintage archtop has a double-bonded Spruce top and Mahogany sides and back. The Chunky V-shape Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard plays like butter and has a 43mm wide nut.
The Kalamazoo arrived without a pickguard. We decided to fit this guitar with a Tortoise Celluloid pickguard. A real eye-catcher on this vintage workhorse! Other than that, this Kalamazoo is completely original.
The guitar once had a crack in the side, this has been expertly restored, see photos. This does not affect the structure of the Kalamazoo.
Comes with a gig bag.
