This 2006 Gretsch G400C Synchromatic is a beautiful single-cutaway archtop equipped with a Gold DeArmond 1100 pickup.
The Gretsch has a solid spruce top and laminated maple back and sides, finished in a classic sunburst. The iconic cat-eye sound holes, tortoise pickguard, and rosewood stair step bridge give the guitar a luxurious art deco look.
The previous owner equipped the guitar with a DeArmond 1100 floating pickup. A Schatten-design thumbwheel, neatly placed under the pickguard, was used for tone control, so no permanent modifications were made to the guitar.
The lacquer has two small cracks near the sound holes (see photo). These are stable and located in the lacquer.
The Gretsch comes with a well-fitting case.
