Harmony Meteor H-70 1966Harmony Meteor H-70 1966
€ 1.650,00
Here we have a 1966 Harmony Meteor H-70 with the coveted DeArmond Moustache pickups. This guitar closely resembles the Harmony Meteor that Keith Richards played in his early career. At the time, the Meteor was Harmony's top-of-the-line model.
This beautiful Meteor has a thinline body with a laminated maple body. The guitar is in very good condition, with only some light signs of wear that are consistent with its age.
The maple neck has a nice chunky C-profile with a nut width of 1 11/16”, similar to many Gibsons from the 1950s and early 1960s. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features beautiful block inlays. On the headstock, we find the classic Harmony Meteor emblem and a set of original Waverly tuners.
This thinline Harmony is equipped with the well-known DeArmond Gold Foil Moustache pickups (December 20, 1966). These are very strong and clear-sounding elements with that typical open, sparkling tone for which these guitars are so highly regarded. A sound that is perfect for blues, rock, or soul!
The guitar is currently set up with .011 strings and plays smoothly with a nice action.
Comes with a Hiscox case.
