A Harmony H-75 from 1964. This is not a museum piece, but a real player with the right looks and sound. Made in Chicago during Harmony's heyday, with the iconic sunburst finish and three DeArmond gold foil pickups.
The laminated maple body has the perfect amount of wear and the sunburst has aged beautifully, with subtle discoloration and craquelure. A “pinup decal” has been incorporated at the master volume control.
The maple neck fits comfortably in your hand and plays smoothly. There is a deep scratch near the headstock, but this is not a crack (see photos). Tuners are not original.
All electronics are 100% functional. The three original DeArmond pickups deliver the recognizable sparkle and punch these models are known for. The knobs are not original, but fit well with the vintage look. All switches and potentiometers function as they should.
In short: a Harmony H-75 with character. Not a mint condition model, but an honest, well-playing vintage guitar with charisma and soul. Perfect for those looking for an authentic vintage feel without the museum price tag.
