Framus 5/097 12-String 1965
€ 425,00
This 1965 Framus 5/097 12-string guitar has specifications very similar to John Lennon's legendary Framus Hootenanny. It belonged to Benny Ludemann, guitarist for Toon Hermans.
The guitar is constructed with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, and features a single-layer tortoise pickguard. The mahogany neck with a sturdy C-profile is exceptionally comfortable to hold and has recently been professionally refretted.
Upon arrival, it appeared that the headstock had come loose. However, this was due to two parts becoming detached rather than a breakage. The headstock has been carefully and professionally reattached and is completely stable.
The action is exceptionally low for a 12-string, resulting in a remarkably light playing feel.
The Framus is delivered without a case or gig bag.
