Kay 5113 “Plains Special” 1960s

Here we have a restored Kay 5113 from the 1960s. This 000 style acoustic guitar has tons of Mojo and loads of projection!
This ladder braced Chicago made acoustic has a solid Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. The original tortoise Kay pickguard is a real jewel for this old lady. The neck has an adjustable chunky C-profile with Rosewood fretboard and dot inlays.
The original tuners are upgraded with no-line Kluson style tuners. The previous owner refretted the guitar and changed the original bridge for a Rosewood belly bridge. The action is slightly higher than normal. Playability is fine now, but I would recommend a neck reset for optimal playability. This also reflects the price tag.
Comes with a vintage chipboard case.
