Here we have a 1952 Levin Model 6 Dansant, one of Levin's mid-range models. Today, Levin is considered the European Gibson. When you see the quality of this guitar, you'll agree!
This Levin Dansant comes from Benny Ludemann, guitarist for Toon Hermans. The Levin has a solid carved spruce top and solid walnut sides and (flamed) back. The rosewood fingerboard is inlaid with mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The headstock is decorated with beautiful inlays and the famous “Levin” logo.
The Levin is completely original, except for the pickguard. We made the tortoise pickguard ourselves. A very stylish combination, if you ask us!
We decided to refret this guitar. A center seam crack was also restored using cleats. This was done very carefully and professionally. The Levin
The guitar comes with a beautiful original case.
