De Martin 00-18G uit 1955 is een zeldzame 00-formaat nylonsnaargitaar, gebouwd in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. De toevoeging “G” staat voor gut (darmsnaren), later vervangen door nylon.
The G model combines a 14-fret body shape with a lower soundhole and a neck that starts at the 12th fret. This gives the Martin a unique character and sound. The fan-braced body has mahogany back and sides and a spruce top.
The neck is made of mahogany with an ebony fingerboard and a slotted headstock with Martin decal. The neck is 50.8 mm wide and has a comfortable soft ‘V’ shape. The original frets are still in good condition.
Comes with a modern case.
