A professionally set-up 1971 Martin D-28. This is an excellent Bluegrass guitar with all the punch you expect from an older Martin.
This vintage Martin has Spruce top and Indian Rosewood sides and back. The D-28 has a Mahogany neck with Ebony fretboard and is finished with a beautiful diamond volute. On the headstock are the original Grover Rotomatics that stay in tune well.
The Martin is fully taken care of by Willem Oostendorp. This Martin has had a neck reset and a refret. Unfortunately it happens more often that the original pickguard will shrink, this Martin also suffered from that. Hence the Martin is equipped with a new pickguard. Furthermore, the guitar has been fitted with new bone, nut and saddle. In short, a vintage Martin that can be played right away!
The Martin comes with a non original case.
