Martin GT-70 Burgundy 1966
€ 3.495,00
The Martin GT-70 is a rare vintage guitar, with only 453 copies ever made. Weighing only 3.03 kg, it is light, comfortable and full of character-a great find for players and collectors alike.
This semi-hollow electric Martin is in excellent condition, considering its age. Although some wear is visible, it plays perfectly. Except for the new nut, everything is completely original. The single-cutaway body is made of laminated maple and has a beautiful, deep burgundy finish. The finish has aged very nicely!
The mahogany neck has a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. The frets are low but still play well; however, we recommend considering a refret over time. The headstock, also with binding, has the original decal logo and Kluson Deluxe Double Line tuners.
Equipped with two DeArmond-style pickups, this vintage Martin offers a wide range of tones. A Bigsby-style vibrato tailpiece and a Bigsby bridge complete the setup.
Comes with the original case (there is a rivet missing from the handle, see photo).
