Thompson D-MA Amber Burst 2017

Dit exemplaar is in bijna nieuwe staat. Het gaat om een D-MA model uit 2017 met serienummer 1335. De Thompson is ontworpen om de kenmerken en klank van de meest populaire pre-war dreadnoughts na te bootsen. De body is gemaakt van solid mahogany en heeft een (forward shifted x-braced) bovenblad van solid Adirondack spruce, afgewerkt met een mooie Amber sunburst afwerking.

The low register is deep and powerful - ideal as accompaniment for vocals - while the bright treble and balanced midrange lend themselves well to both flatpicking and fingerpicking.

The Thompson has a comfortable mahogany neck, an ebony fretboard and a nut that measures 1 3/4 inches (44 mm) in width. The fingerboard has a 16" radius and features elegant 30's-style dot inlays. On the headstock we find Waverly Nickel tuners with butterbean knobs.

This Thompson comes with Harptone's original hardshell case.
