Burns “Double Six” 12-string 1964

 3.750,00

This Burns Double Six 12-string guitar is a rare find, not to be confused with the Baldwin era 12-string. The man himself, Elvis Presley, used a 1964 Burns Double Six in the movie 'Spinout' (1966).

The Burns boasts an offset double-cutaway solid Alder body with a captivating Natty Green finish. The Maple neck features a 50mm nut width and a Rosewood fretboard adorned with dot inlays.

The 'Double Six' has earned a reputation as the most user-friendly 12-string guitar. In comparison to Rickenbacker and Fender, it stands out with its relatively wide 50mm nut width.

Equipped with three slanted Tri-Sonic pickups, a three-way selector, one volume, and two tones, the Double Six delivers a unique tonal experience. All electronic components remain untouched and in perfect working condition.

This guitar comes complete with a period-correct case.
