Vega E-201 1950s

This Vega features a bookmatched carved Spruce top with laminated Maple back and sides. It’s finished in a beautiful Tobacco Sunburst. The adjustable solid Mahogany neck features a Rosewood fretboard with luxurious mother-of-pearl fingerboard inlays. On the headstock we find the famous Vega script logo and (modern) Grover Sta-Tite tuners.

The original pickguard was gone when we bought the guitar. To be honest, we weren’t too sad about it. The original pickguard is really ugly. Go check the internet, and see for yourself ;-). The original floating pickup (6.8 ohm) was present so we made a new pickguard for the guitar. For the pickguard we used the same 5-ply material as used on Gibson pickguards.
