Capital EG-H 1937
A very rare Capital EG-H 1937. Capital was the house brand of “The Jenkins Music Co.” in Kansas City, MO. At the time, Jenkins was the largest supplier of the Gibson and Kalamazoo line. In total, only 6 (!) EG-H lap steels were delivered. We currently have two of these 6 in the store! These are also ascending serial numbers.
This 6-string Capital EG-H is made of solid maple and is finished with a beautiful sunburst. The rosewood fretboard is equipped with dot inlays and the headstock features a MOP Capital inlay. Furthermore, the EG-H is in a very neat condition. Even the original tuners work properly.
The Capital comes with the original case.
