Guild Starfire III Cherry 1966

The Guild Starfire III Cherry from 1966, made in Hoboken, NJ, is a fully hollow vintage thinline guitar featuring a laminated mahogany body with a vibrant cherry red finish. A fun fact is that Jerry Garcia also used a Guild Starfire III in the 1960s.
This is a completely original example with signs of use. The finish shows some wear, and "aesthetic" overspray/ touch-ups on the neck and back of the body, but no cracks or other repairs. The Mahogany neck has a bound Rosewood freboard with dot inlay. On the headstock we find the original tuners.
Equipped with Guild’s 1960s humbucking pickups and Guild-logo Bigsby vibrato, this vintage Guild not only looks great but also sounds fantastic! The guitar is versatile, suitable for genres ranging from jazz and blues to classical and modern rock. The Guild is currently set up with .011 strings.
Comes with a modern case.
