Lyon & Healy Parlor 1910s

This circa-1910s Chicago Made Parlor has no label to identify a maker. The body shape, materials used and internal construction style suggest the guitar was built by Lyon & Healy.
This ladder braced parlor has a solid Spruce top and the sides and back are made of solid Mahogany. The neck has a v-shape profile with a chunky feel. The bound fingerboard features luxurious mother-of-pearl inlay. On the bound slotted headstock we find the original plate tuners and a new bone nut.
This vintage parlor has been fully restored by Willem Oostendorp. For good playability he gave the fretboard a radius and refretted it with thin vintage wire. Willem also made an Ebony Pyramid bridge with slanted bone saddle for the perfect intonation. This guitar plays and sounds like a dream, ready for the next 100 years!
Due to its almost 100-year existence, the Parlor has had the necessary wear and tear. A number of cracks have also been repaired in the past on the side and back, see photos. These cracks are stable and do not affect the structure of the instrument.
Comes with a vintage case.
