Wildwood Heirloom 5-String Banjo
Wildwood banjos were made by Mark Platin in the United States from 1973 to 2018. Mark made resonator models as well as openback banjos.
Wildwood rims are completely different from conventional banjo rims. Wildwood's rims are constructed of blocks of solid Maple, see photos. The neck is made of flamed Maple and the Ebony fretboard features luxurious inlays. Furthermore, the banjo features a Tubaphone-style tone ring that was also made in-house.
The Wildwood banjo comes with a solid case.
