Boston “Fairbanks” C. 1890
Unfortunately, no marking or serial number of the manufacturer can be found. But it is probably a Boston made Fairbanks, Cole etc. from the 1890's. This is the perfect banjo for someone who wants a fretless banjo with the old time sound!
This vintage fretless banjo has been completely restored. For example, the banjo has been strung with a new skin and the original tuners have been upgraded with geared Wittner pegs. The original "Maltese cross" tuners are also present. Furthermore, the banjo is set up with D'Addario Pro Arte "Light Tension" strings.
