Fender Duo Sonic 1961

This short-scale Fender started life with a Desert Sand Finish. Later someone provided the guitar with a Dakota Red Finish. Traces of both colors can still be found in the neck pocket and cavity, see photos.

The neck dates the Duo Sonic to 1961. However, the logo has been replaced for a good repro decal. The pickups have been replaced for Fender pickups from the 1970s and the potentiometers are also not original. The pickguard and single line Kluson tuners are still original.
