A very exclusive Fender Masterbuilt John Cruz ‘62 Stratocaster 2006 Sonic Blue. Limited Edition of 100 guitars. These sweet Sonic Blue guitars are built using original tooling and details.
This Fender was masterbuilt by John Cruzz. John Cruz was fired from Fender in 2021. This Fender was heavily “relic-ed” to show years of natural wear and tear, rusty hardware and aged plastic parrots. The Alder body has a nitrocellulose lacquer finish and three-ply aged mint green pickguard.
The early ‘60s C-Shaped Maple neck has a 9.5” radius and Rosewood fretboard with 21 medium Jumbo frets. The electronics feature three Limited Edition John Cruz Masterbuilt Single Coil pickups with S-1 Switching.
Comes with the original case and papers.
