This vintage 7 string has had a recent refret and the original tuners have been upgraded with geared pegs. The original decorative tuners are still present, see photos. Currently the banjo is set up with D'Addario Pro Arte "Light Tension" strings. For perfect playability, the banjo will need some work, hence the price.

On the dowel stick is the maker's name “G. Matthew” plus the place of manufacture “Birmingham”. This banjo comes without a case.
