Gibson BR-6 “Script” 1947
Out of stock
A rare Gibson BR-6 “Tuxedo” 1947 with a beautiful Script logo.
This 6-string Gibson BR-6 is crafted from a solid piece of mahogany and is finished with a beautiful black finish. The black metal fretboard is equipped with Art-Deco style position numbering and the headstock features the famous Gibson script logo. One of the previous owners used stickers to stick the names of the notes on the fretboard. This is easy to remove, but we felt it was part of the instrument's history. So we kept it like this.
These early Gibson lap steels are so classy and authentic sounding that you have to love them. Just plug in this BR-6 and you're ready for western swing, country, rockabilly and anything you can think of!
The Gibson comes with the original case.
