Gibson Century V2 1953

This 6-string Century is made from solid maple and is finished with a deep blue nitro finish. The completeness of this set is very special. The Century comes with the original case (with pink lining), hang tag, case key with envelope and three vintage Gibson string packages.

The Century is equipped with the original tall barrel knobs. These knobs can also be found on eg. the 1952 Les Paul. As a result, many copies are missing the buttons, but don't worry; these are original!

The original pick-up cover is beautifully finished with a golden floral motif. Some of you will have seen this "floral design" before on the Gibson ES-295, for example. Under the pick-up cover we find the original P-90 pick-up with adjustable pole pieces. The P-90 sounds very clear and dynamic. Furthermore, the electronics are in good condition, the tone potentiometers are a bit "dusty".

In short; a very unique and complete vintage Gibson lap steel.
