Here we have a beautiful example of a Gibson ES-345TD Sunburst Stereo from 1968. The condition of this instrument is truly superb! The Gibson has minimal wear and even the gold of the hardware has barely faded.
The Gibson ES-345 has a laminated maple body and a very comfortable medium C-shape neck. Even the original mid-60's medium-jumbo frets have virtually no wear.
Over the years, the diamond trapeze tailpiece has been replaced with a stop tailpiece. Otherwise, the guitar is original.
The Gibson already has a fantastic sound acoustically, but plugged in the original Gibson Patent Number Humbuckers come into their own, punchy and warm. Partly because of the Variotone, it is an incredibly versatile guitar.
