Gibson L-50 1940’s

Gibson L-50 from the 1940s with a beautiful warm vintage sound. A sound you would expect from a vintage Gibson archtop!
The L-50 has a spruce top and maple back and sides. The mahogany neck has a chunky neck profile with a rosewood fingerboard.
Over the years this L-50 has been converted to an ES-125. The pickup and the tone + volume pot were added later. This conversion probably took place in the 1970s/80s.
The L-50 has a wide projection and plays wonderfully. She is therefore very suitable for Blues, Country and other Roots music. Furthermore, the Gibson needs some work, hence the price. There is a crack in the top of the guitar (at the height of the tailpiece) and in the side, see photos. A small piece of the binding has also been replaced. In short; a real player!
The Gibson comes without a case.
