A 1936 Gibson-manufactured Kalamazoo KG-14. Blues legend Robert Johnson is said to have recorded his well-known recordings in 1936 and 1937 using a Kalamazoo KG-14.
This Kalamazoo KG-14 has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The chunky V-shape mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard plays like butter and has a 43mm wide nut. Furthermore, this vintage Kalamazoo guitar is completely original from the tuners to the rosewood bridge. This Kalamazoo is in an amazing condition for its age.
One of the previous owners fitted the Kalamazoo with a transducer. So very suitable for playing live!
