Kay Professional 1960

The Kay Professional has a laminated maple body. In the beautiful amber/natural finish we find two DeArmond (low-output) Speed Bump pickups. These pickups have something special. Definitely one of the cooler sounding “off the beaten path” single coil pickups from the 60s.

This vintage Kay has a nice low action and everything about this guitar is original. The Kay did have a light "touch-up" at the top wing of the headstock, no head crack.

This Kay is in excellent condition. The finish is in beautiful condition and even the bindings are perfect. Good to know; the Professional is equipped with the original Double Line Kluson tuners. These also still work properly.

In short, a fantastic Blues machine with an amazing sound!
