Kay Titan 1966
Out of stock
Een Kay Titan Model K402 1966 gemaakt in Chicago. Deze vintage gitaar beschikt over een serieuze dosis jaren ‘60 Mojo!
The Kay Titan has a mahogany body and a nitro finish. Furthermore, this guitar is equipped with a pair of sought-after P-35 “Kleenex Box” single-coil pickups. These pickups have something magical about them and sound similar in many ways to P-90 pickups.
The (straight) mahogany neck has a medium C-shape profile and feels a bit chunky. The rosewood fingerboard features a beautiful mother-of-pearl inlay, also seen on the 1960s Kay K-625 hollow body. The frets are a bit low, but the action of the guitar is perfect.
The original batwing pickguard and (Kay) vibrato are also present. This vibrato was specially designed by Kay and is somewhat similar to the Bigsby B-5. The original electronics are untouched and the CTS potentiometers date the guitar to the 48th week of 1966.
On the headstock we find the original Kluson Deluxe Double Line tuners that turn smoothly and keep the guitar in tune.
Comes with a gig bag.
