Here we have a 1960s Regal Model 235 Sovereign Jumbo made in Chicago, USA. This old guitar has seen better days, but there's a reason someone loved it so much!
This is basically the same guitar as the Harmony Sovereign H-1260 Jumbo. This American Jumbo is made of solid Sitka spruce with ladder bracing and the sides and back are solid mahogany. The mahogany neck has an ebonized fretboard, probably pearwood.
The guitar has many dings & dongs and also some old crack repairs (structurally solid). The bridge and pickguard have also been changed.
This old Regal plays well (010) and sounds full, woody, open and loud.
Comes without case/or gig bag.
