Silvertone 1451 1967
A piece of American music history; the Silvertone Model 1451 Hornet amp-in-case from 1967. This guitar was the successor to the popular 1448 amp-in-case combo.
The special thing about this guitar is that the body is solid. This is in contrast to the masonite and poplar 1448 and 1457. Judging by the body shape, it looks like Silvertone was trying to compete with the Fender Mustang!
The body is finished in a beautiful glitter black finish with a contrasting white pickguard. And the single lipstick pickup sounds very strong!
The gray vinyl covered case is in excellent condition and the amplifier is fully functional. The amplifier is made for 110 volts, so to use the amplifier you need a transformer (not included).
