A rare Circa 1953 Silvertone Model 670 Aristocrat. This model was produced by Kay in Chicago from 1950 to 1953. At the time, this was Silvertone's showpiece.
This high-end 17-inch archtop has a spruce top and a beautifully drawn maple back and sides. The maple neck has a very large neck profile with a rosewood fingerboard. Typical for Silvertone guitars from this time. Furthermore, both the headstock and pickguard are provided with the famous Silvertone "medieval crest". In short; a very classy guitar!
Except for the repro Kluson tuners, the Silvertone is completely original. This vintage Silvertone comes with a modern case.
