Silvertone Mandolin 1950’s
€ 0,00
Out of stock
Here we have a Chicago-made 1940s/1950s Silvertone Mandolin. These mandolins were produced by Kay and sold through the Sears catalog.
This vintage Silvertone has a mahogany body with a spruce top. The mahogany U-shape neck has a rosewood fretboard. Furthermore, the A-style body is equipped with a beautiful tortoise pickguard.
On the headstock we find a very decorative silkscreened Silvertone logo. The original Single Line Kluson tuners work properly and were also used on some Gibson mandolins at the time.
This vintage mandolin has no cracks, but does have the necessary signs of wear. The Silvertone has also had a neck reset in the past.
Comes with the original Geib case.
