A 1966 Supro Valco Resoglass in excellent condition. This model, also known as the “J.B. Hutto” model, is nowadays also associated with Jack White of the White Stripes.
This Supro could be straight out of The Jetsons! The Resoglass (fiberglass) body is in very nice condition. Furthermore, the body is finished in a beautiful fire engine red finish with a contrasting art-deco style pickguard.
The neck has a medium shaped "C-profile" with a nut width of 1 11/16". The rosewood fingerboard has a tasteful mother-of-pearl inlay and the binding of the fingerboard has some binding rot. On the headstock we find an aftermarket Supro logo sticker and the original nickel Kluson Deluxe Double Line tuners.
This uniquely shaped vintage guitar delivers a versatile tone. Plugged into a low wattage tube amp the Supro has that thick and dark vintage blues tone!
