A special Washburn Model 212 from circa 1896. This vintage is not for "the faint of heart".
This X braced parlor has a solid Adirondack Spruce top and the sides and back are made of solid Brazilian Rosewood. The neck has a v-shape profile with a chunky feel. The fretboard features non-original luxury mother-of-pearl inlays. On the slotted headstock we find the original brass plate tuners.
This more than 100-year-old parlor has been through a lot over the years. The top, back and sides have quite a few repaired cracks, see photos. These cracks are stable and do not affect the structure of the instrument. The guitar has also been provided with an X-bracing over the years.
Furthermore, the Washburn has a non-original Ebony pyramid bridge with slanted bone saddle. This guitar plays and sounds great.
Comes with a gig bag.
