About the Gretsch 6120 1967
This example is an early 1967 6120 which features the Nashville headstock badge and pickguard, but otherwise much the same as the 1964-1966 models.
The Gretsch 6120 has a double-bound laminated maple body with painted f-holes. The Gold plexi pickguard is in great shape with no cracks or breaks. The mute muffler works 100%, even the mute pad has not deteriorated.
The maple neck has a fretboard with the famous Gretsch thumbnail inlays. Years ago, Guild Guru, Hans Moust refretted this guitar. He did a very neat job. The frets are the only thing not original to the guitar.
This Gretsch has been set-up and it plays like butter! The 6120 comes with the original case, also in great condition.
