A Kay K-6100 "Western Rhythm" from the late 1950s/early 1960s, made in the US. This model was extremely popular and Kay's response to the Harmony H-1260 Sovereign Jumbo guitar. It was among Kay's more expensive models and is known as a cannon!
This X-braced Kay has a solid Spruce top with laminated Mahogany sides and backs. The Kay has aged beautifully over the years.
The C-shape neck features a bound Rosewood fretboard with oversized dot inlays. The Kay was professionally refretted several years ago, so there is plenty of life left on the frets. The tuners have been replaced for modern Kluson tuners.
The Kay comes with a gig-bag.
